Services Offered to Employers

 

Professional and trained staff of Parents Alliance Employment Project will work closely with Human Resource professionals to ensure successful employment opportunities for people with disabilities within their company by offering the following services at no cost:

 

-Access to a large pool of qualified, pre-screened applicants to fill job openings

 

-Job analysis done on-site to determine essential functions of particular positions within your company

 

-Job coaching services


The staff of Parents Alliance will provide job training and necessary supports to help the individual be successful on the job until independence is reached. Examples may include assisting the individual with performance on new job tasks and helping them understand job culture, industry practices, and work behaviors expected by the employer.


-Unconditional and on-going support for the duration of employment   to ensure long-term success for both the company and the employee.

 

-Parents Alliance Employment Project staff are available to provide expert advice on any disability-related issues, as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act.

 

-Referral to Work Opportunity Tax Credits and incentives for hiring people with disabilities
